E.V. Stenroos
A Distinctive Talent, Reintroduced with Clarity and Craft
Ellinor Stenroos had already built a reputation as one of Calgary’s most respected jewelry designers. Her custom work was celebrated for its creativity, precision, and elegance. But while her craftsmanship spoke volumes, her brand identity struggled to do the same.
The Challenge
Despite her growing client base, Ellinor’s brand lacked clarity and cohesion. People frequently mispronounced or misremembered her business name. The visual identity didn’t reflect the refinement of her work, nor did it give her the confidence to market and grow her practice.
She needed a brand that could clearly communicate who she was and elevate the perception of her work to match its true value.
The Solution
We partnered with Ellinor to create a brand that was as thoughtful and refined as the pieces she designs.
Brand Strategy & Positioning: We took the time to deeply understand Ellinor’s design philosophy, Scandinavian heritage, and aesthetic values.
- wordmark: A custom logotype emphasized her full name—E.V. Stenroos—establishing clarity and confidence, while nodding to the two O’s that mirror the forms of her signature rings.
- Icon Design: Drawing from the Swedish translation of “Stenroos” (“Stone Rose”), we developed a minimalist symbol that represents the transformation of raw materials into something timeless.
- Collateral Design: From business cards to packaging, every brand touchpoint was carefully considered to mirror the sophistication and detail of her jewelry.
- Augmented Reality Integration: A scannable QR code on her business cards allowed clients to view her work in AR, enhancing the digital experience while maintaining elegance.
The Result
The new identity gave E.V. Stenroos a renewed sense of ownership and confidence. It provided a platform for growth, a consistent voice across all brand materials, and a lasting impression that aligned with the quality of her craft.
With a clear name, a refined visual language, and the right tools to connect with clients, E.V. Stenroos is now positioned exactly where she belongs—in a class of her own.
